2009 Plans  

Sheba will be bred for a spring 2009 litter.  Although the sire has not yet been selected, I will be looking for a male with similar characteristics to Sheba - specifically fantastic temperament, health clearances, herding ability, good movement, and good conformation.   Sheba is a highly intelligent, medium drive dog.  She has 12 points (only 3 singles left!)  toward her AKC championship.  Recently she received an Excellent rating at the UKC Regional Specialty under judge Skip Stanbridge.  She has her  CERF eye clearance, OFA excellent hips, and OFA normal elbows.  In 2007, Sheba placed in the top 10 BSD herding dogs, earning her HSAs with two High in Trials. She also passed her ATTS temperament test at 18 months old with flying colors.    

I will be breeding to preserve the breed's beauty, health, conformation, herding, and performance ability for an all-around dog.  Puppies will be sold with a written guarantee and lifetime breeder support.  I adhere to BSCA (Belgian Sheepdog Club of America) breeder guidelines.  A limited number of reservations will be accepted and a puppy contract will be required.  Please contact me for a prospective puppy owner questionnaire.
